Central Surf has two shops in Puerto Escondido. One is on the
Adoquin(in Centro), the other is on Zicatela. You can rent a variety of surfboards and boogie boards at the Zicatela store. They carry a full line of surfing accessories, and repair dings and broken boards.

The Salinas brothers manufacture their own shorts and surf trunks in Puerto Escondido, using modern equipment and employing local people. The quality, design and durability of their trunks are better than anything this webmaster has seen.

 

Many custom Central Surf logos are available on t-shirts,
tank tops, and decals.

              

          
        

The Salinas brothers have accumulated over 20 years worth of surfing memorabilia, including this longboard from the Central Surf Longboard Invitational in September, 1999, signed by many of the world's top longboarders.

The Salinas brothers are building a third surf shop above Zicatela. The four story building will also be the home of Puerto Escondido's first surfing museum. It is officially completed, waiting for customers, and tenants to rent.
